The Kano Startup Weekend (KSW) 2025 is the flagship entrepreneurship and innovation event hosted by the Kano State Government through the Kano State Information Technology Development Agency (KASITDA).

Aligned with the Kano State Digital Transformation Agenda (2025–2030), this maiden edition aims to ignite Kano’s startup ecosystem, facilitate collaboration, and position the state as a leading hub for technology and innovation in Nigeria and beyond.

Is registration really free?

Yes! Registration for attendees is completely free. We want to make this event accessible to all entrepreneurs, developers, students, and innovators in Kano and beyond.

How can I participate in the pitch competition?

The 20 pitch competition slots are by invitation based on pre-screening. However, all registered attendees can showcase their startups at our Innovation Exhibition.

Will meals be provided?

Yes, lunch and refreshments will be provided for all registered attendees on both days of the event.
